Laura Levine, LCPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has substantial experience providing counseling to children (ages 4-17), adults, and families. Laura has trained in a variety of modalities and thus provides a multi-faceted approach which is tailored to each individual/family based on their treatment goals.

Laura is one of approximately a dozen clinicians in Maryland who is certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T). A.R.T is a fast growing, short-term modality for treating trauma, phobia, anxiety, depression, and various other mental health conditions. A.R.T. utilizes bilateral eye movements (similar to EMDR) to help the brain process various events and experiences. Many issues can be addressed with significant to complete relief of symptoms in as little as 1-3 sessions. Laura is also trained as a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist - I.

Laura received her Masters from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and has a background in forensic psychology as well as clinical counseling. She has worked in a variety of settings including child protective services, substance abuse, domestic violence, and various school settings. Laura utilizes various evidence based practices including Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
