* Psychological testing is a service that requires specialized training and a high level of expertise in test development, standardized administration, and data interpretation. There are professionals who may offer an “evaluation” or “assessment” without using standardized psychological testing. Psychological testing, on the other hand, is an area of specialization that requires formal training, expertise, and an understanding of the regulations pertaining to test administration, utility, and security. All psychological testing at FPC is provided by either a licensed psychologist (Psy.D.) and/or a licensed psychological associate (M.A.) in good standing with the State Board of Examiners of Psychologists in the state of Maryland.
